Overview
The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bahia Mar is a pre-construction project on the 40-acre Bahia Mar site at 801 Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal and home of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Developed by Related Group, Tate Capital and Rok Acquisitions with Marriott, and designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Tara Bernerd & Partners, it will replace the existing Bahia Mar hotel. The first phase is planned as two 23-story condominium towers of 80 residences each, plus a resort tower with furnished resort residences and the St. Regis hotel. Condominiums are three- and four-bedroom homes of about 2,600 to 3,550 square feet, plus penthouses, and the developer quotes residences from $3 million. Plans include a private beach club, a marina for yachts up to 350 feet, a public waterfront promenade and a park. No completion date has been announced.
