Fort Lauderdale already has a Ritz-Carlton: the hotel tower on Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard that opened as a St. Regis in 2007. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Fort Lauderdale Beach is a different project, a block inland on Bayshore Drive, with no hotel, announced in February 2026 by two developers new to the city.

The project is two 13-story towers planned for 551 Bayshore Drive, on a site with more than 400 feet of Intracoastal frontage between the beach and the waterway. Developed by MICL, the Mumbai-based builder Man Infraconstruction, and Miami's Admire Capital, and designed by Garcia Stromberg with interiors by Dan Fink Studio, it holds 83 residences of two and three bedrooms with dens, about 1,550 to 3,480 square feet, including six penthouses. Sales opened in March 2026 from $2.5 million.

The Site

551 Bayshore Drive sits on the Intracoastal side of the beach district, one block from A1A and the sand. It is the parcel where the EDITION Residences Fort Lauderdale was launched in 2022 and never built; the land sold in 2023 for $30 million to the current ownership. The waterfront frontage of more than 400 feet is what makes a two-tower plan with dock slips possible on a boutique site.

The Residences

83 homes in two- and three-bedroom-with-den plans from about 1,550 to 3,480 square feet. The six penthouses have ceilings to 11 feet, and select penthouses add rooftop terraces and plunge pools. Select residences have private elevator lobbies and service elevators. Unit numbers carry a C or D suffix for the two towers. A sample listing, a 2,400-square-foot two-bedroom on the ninth floor, was priced at $3.83 million in 2026.
